Who we are
Le Margherite Country House was born in the 1970s as a small farm thanks to the grandparents, Giuseppe and Mafalda.
Hens, rabbits, pigs, and pigeons were raised on the farm, and seeds and vegetables were grown in the surrounding land, destined largely for family sustenance.
The production of wine, oil and honey was done in the "Old House" - now no longer in existence - where, on the ground floor there were large rock vats and barrels, and on the upper floor in the winter period took place the "salata," or the production and curing of cold cuts.
Mafalda, a lover of flowers, had sown the whole lawn with daisies, so every spring the whole lawn was covered with them and it was a real sight.
And it is from the love for simple things, for nature and for this place, that in 2016 with my family we decided to renovate the farmhouse and later also the barn and the swimming pool, to let our guests experience a bit of the climate of our Marche countryside.
